There was more progress on the website since the last update. I have re-arranged elements to better align with other sites, but it was a big fight with the provided template. I think the site is cleaner and more streamlined, so let me know what you think in the comments section. In the future, there will be more ideas to discuss and themes to explore. Right now, the priority is filling in the framework. Please be patient
I have added a short flash fiction story about an obstinate child which I feel most people could identify with. Some flash fiction stories are enticers that hint at longer short stories to come. Neptune Bay is not one of those. I feel that it is at its logical word count, any more would just be fluff or filler. However, that is the main reason for this blog, to refine my writing style. Please leave constructive feedback in the comments.
I have read some more materials and watched some more of the suggested videos, and I have updated those parts (Galactic Tales and Celluloid Dreams). I am happy to discuss any of the materials or do a deeper analysis so feel free to offer suggestions. I am hoping for a complete launch date of October 1, 2025, and therefore there is still ample time to have input into the completed project. Of course, I don’t ever plan to run out of ideas or new content, but the structure and the framework should be settled.
Lots going on in the world and real-life. It always seems to be the case that as you recover from one blow, here comes the next. Escape through books and movies. Go on the reading journeys or start your film explorations. Find something here or elsewhere that allows you to return to equilibrium. Until next time, stay safe – be kind:)
